We decided to grow some wheatgrass. My parents provided the seeds, soil, trays, and light table. Thanks guys!

It's been three days and I'm impressed by how much the seeds have expanded and grown. Today is the first time their tails are noticeably green, reaching up toward the Ottlight "sun." I bet they'd be pretty shocked to find out that it's actually January.

The wheatgrass tray filled out into a robust miniature field over the past 3 days. The individual blades are growing in width as well as height. I wish I could somehow carpet a room with this stuff....it feels fantastic on bare skin. I give this tray another 2-3 days before it's ready for the harvest.

Day 8 and it's time for the DARK GREEN HARVEST! The grass is about 8" tall. We cut about a third of the tray, 1/6 of which was used for about two shots of pure green joy. The rest we mixed with several other fruit juices to concoct a veritable liquid feast.
